CONTRACTORS

There is no limit to the number of Contractor records you can create. Each record is marked with a Status (ie Active, Pending, Archived, etc), which determines future actions and impacts over invoicing, pay and system auto-reminds. A Contractor record is never deleted, it is Archived, to be used again in the future. The Contractor’s primary taxing status is set by the Company they are associated with. Thereafter, further tweaks can apply at the Contractor level.

The Contractor record is where you control your Contractor. From emailing out pdf’s of contracts to printing P60’s to taking Notes and messages about their change in circumstances. There are specific areas for; Work History (all the timesheets ever loaded for that Contractor), Pay History (all the payroll processing ever completed for that Contractor), Documents (payslips, P60’s AE Letters, Contracts, portal expense images, linked documents), Payroll (RTI information, last payslip, PSC data) and other that support your Contractor

Each Contractor is allocated a sequential ID on creation or import. Yes you can import in bulk. This is their Payroll ID and their system ID. Of course, you can allocate a Reference that may refer to another system or Agency. You can search on both fields, as well as address and name fields in a quick F4 Search.  You can change over 60 fields across multiple Contractors in one process. This means you can, for example, change the Fee charge for all Contractors for one Agency very quickly or move the Company they are associated with in seconds

Fees charged to the Agency or the Contractor are controlled at the Contractor level for maximum flexibility, as is the Net Pay Text Message choice or a default Payslip Address. You can even set an alert to advise the Contractor and internal users when a competency is due to expire
